European high-budget production exploring the secrets and dramas behind the great Italian Renaissance artist. Leonardo tells the story of Da Vinci through his art, designs, and inventions. The series will use eight of his major works, created at key moments in his life, to tell the story of the man and the genius. From the ‘Mona Lisa’ and her enigmatic smile to the mystical symbolism of ‘The Last Supper’. An incomparable genius whose work broke the rules of the established order.
