Con los años que me quedan

Macarena grew up in a humble family. Her parents are `churreros´. (They prepare `churros´, fried dough pretzels) and decided to emigrate to the USA when Macarena was five years old. Charismatic and strong willed, Macarena's adolescence was somewhat complicated, but an unexpected twist managed to focus her: she decided to study law. Diana, a policewoman she met during an internship, becomes the love of her life. Everything goes smoothly until Paco, her father, falls in love with a prostitute whom he leaves pregnant, throwing her family into a complex economic and emotional spiral. Macarena must pay a debt contracted by her father and his girl, if she doesn't want to suffer further damage. To get by, Macarena agrees to be a mule and transport some merchandise from Los Angeles to Mexico. To do so, she hires a carpool with Louis, the peculiar young owner of the vehicle. Everything seems perfect ... However, their getaway, which promised to be, above all, liberating, ends up being an experience full of shocks, which will end up bringing Macarena and Louis together in the greatest adventure of their lives.
