Synopsis:
After the coup d'état, Franco's regime took advantage of the victory and cruelly and savagely punished the Republican population. More than 250,000 Spaniards were imprisoned in concentration camps and jails. The repression against women was even harsher, with rapes, humiliating humiliations, and hair shaving. Many of these women wrote letters to their families or friends before they died or during their imprisonment. This documentary finds their letters and makes them known to the world so that their names are not erased from history.
